The final new book by director Ikko Sekimoto, "Zakoné," has been
published by Benten Books. This legendary work, serialized from 1983 to
1984 in Sports Nippon newspaper as a novel by a filmmaker, captivated many
readers. It is a biographical account of a film director titled "A
Director’s Wandering Memoir."

In 1876, American musician Henry Clay Work composed "Grandfather's
Clock," which became a worldwide million-seller. This film, based
on the story that inspired the creation of the song, is the first-ever
adaptation. The lead role is played by Satoshi Matsuda, known for his portrayal
of Knight in Toei's Kamen Rider Ryuki, with popular actress Marika Matsumoto as the heroine.
